The images come from multiple sources, but do have real meaning! The "old school" images include a Bolex Rex 16mm camera - which I own, use regularly and love. The view camera is of a type I have used, but don't currently own or use much these days, although this is probably the old technology that has the most current value of those on this page!. The television is the collector's prize, a Philco Predicta which I've always admired as a design ahead of it's time (once did a TV segment on collector TV sets...) and hails to around the time of my birth. The phone reminds me of the one we had in the home when I was a kid, I still remember it's weight and the sound and feel of the dial.

The rollover images are more direct and personal. These I own and use virtually every day. The HiDef video camera is one I evangelize as a category buster; the JVC GY-HD200. The still camera is the warhorse digital slr camera, the Nikon D70, which ties into my arsenal of 7 Nikon lenses. The Apple Mac workstation is the hub for so much I do (although my powerbook was also a contender for this spot), and the Treo 700p is my current mobile phone/ calendar / phonebook / MP3 player / web browser etc.!
